Day 4

Hey guys,

Today I did push-ups and chin-ups in the morning, but the rest of my day was consumed by my architecture project I'm doing. Here I'm posting four pictures of what I looked like on day 1. I don't look much different yet, but I will!!

Seriously, though, I can't believe how "slow" this is going, I haven't relly been concentrating on my diet much yet..but that's all changing!

See you tomorrow,
Rustic

Update

Hey...sooo, I guess I had a tiny false-start on the writing part.

i've been so busy lately, with school work that I have forgotten to update my asesome workout blog! :O

Anyway, here goes..today is Day 4. On day 2, I went swimming in the morning and did the usual push-ups that I normally do, in the evening. On Day 3, yesterday, I stayed home to do a large essay, but I did manage to get in quite a few chin-ups and handstand pushups.

Right now is the start of my Day 4, and I have done chin-ups and push-ups in the morning, and I'm about to go into town to print off my essay,, but I'm hoping to play squash too.

Day 1

30 - 11 - 09

Today was day one of my training. I think it went rather well for a first day. I started off with 90 push-ups in the morning (30, 25, 20, 15), continued with a not junk-food lunch (went to spud-u-like and had a potato), and finished the day off with 100 push-ups (30, 25, 20, 15, 10) and my usual stretching session. My stretching includes leg-raises and splits etc.

Not surprisingly, I have found that I have lost my front-splits (I am about 4-5in off the ground now), and I can't kick as high. I definitely need to work on this. I've also taken pictures from day one, but I am charging my camera at the moment, so I wont post them until tomorrow..but what I've definitely concluded is that I need to work on my front (abs etc) a LOT. I've kinda let myself go =[

Annd I must not forget about legs..

Anyway, I will write again tomorrow evening, wish me luck!

The Purpose of this Diary

The purpose of this blog is for me to have a training diary.

Over the next year, I am aiming to achieve several goals:

Become a better traceur, tricker, and freerunner.
To better my health and fitness levels.
To increase flexibility back to my "prime" levels back in 2008.

I will post pictures once every either one or two weeks of training.

Some basic info on me: I am 6'1", 81kg/178lb, athletic (well, skinny).

I've been freerunning for almost 3 years, at a casual level, and before
that I've done judo for 6 years and taekwondo for 2.

My training methods (that I think at this point) will be regular working
out with calesthenics (my own bodyweight) at home, swimming, parkour/freerunning
sessions, stretching regularly, and hopefully running.

Today I am relaxing a bit and stretching from yesterday's tricking session,
my new "regime" will begin tomorrow morning. If you are interestd in my past,
you can find most of it in videos on YouTube:

But I am now not intersted in my past, but in creating an awesome new physique, mental
and physical health, and to be ready for the launch of a new "endeavour" in the entertainment
industry I have. Some of our preliminary projects can be found here:

If you're intersted in doing this with me, please do!

Good luck to everyone, and to myself,
Rustic
